I’ve been fighting myself to actually write once again – I’ve been “absent” for the past couple of weeks. I thought I’d try something new and decided to write down a bunch of things I could include in my next post. The list ended up being about 12 to 15 items and after I jotted them down all I could do was give out a “whew” as I pondered putting the list into a post. Of course, by the time a couple days passed by the list was already a bit “old news” due to Trump’s “a scandal a day” strategy to Trump 2.0. Then, in the last couple of days more reports have surfaced about ICE abusing any reasonable expectation of their “power” under our constitution. The constitution Trump and his sycophants appear to be hell bent on turning into part of American history – that is, a thing of the past.

Tonight, when I saw a young man sitting on the curb in Austin Texas with local police officers cutting off his shirt – showing the bullet hole in his upper torso – clearly near his spine – with his hands behind his back and cuffed I got really, once again, pissed off. Then, when I heard the man was sent to the hospital for FOUR hours and then removed to one of the ICE concentration camps a couple hours from Austin – with the bullet STILL lodged next to his spine, no pain medication, and no place to lie down except on the floor I got really ANGRY – and, I’m usually pretty “even keeled.” Fortunately, it was later reported a member of Texas’ congressional democratic party got him out of the concentration camp and into a hospital where he was supposed to get the treatment he deserved. (I’m still not sure he did)

Were they going to wait until the bullet caused him permanent damage to his spinal cord? Of course, as in virtually every shooting reported by members of Trump’s SS (er ICE goons) there will likely be NO investigation – even though the ICE agent apparently fired his weapon through the rear window of the guy’s car – the victim was delivering for “door dash.” OMG! I saw pictures of the guy’s car – the side of it was virtually TOTALED! The ICE agents, in an unmarked car, apparently pulled next to the victim’s car and sideswiped it – not once but TWICE – as if the guy was supposed to understand what was happening to him. So, they totaled his car and then SHOT him in the back from behind the car. Talk about your “profiles in cowardice.” (The name of a book I just ordered at Barnes and Noble today)

So, now it appears I have no choice but to make an attempt to write the post I’ve been putting off for the past couple of weeks. And, trust me, I fully understand MOST of my “readers” are “bots” – which I actually have no idea what they are – but, I digress. The first item I jotted down that I need to write about is Trump Jr.’s wedding gift from one of Putin’s Oligarch buddies who is noted to be part of the Russian mafia. But, what’s to see here? With the Trumps this is just normal “business as usual.” What might one of Putin’s henchmen want with Trump Jr. a couple hundred thousand dollars couldn’t buy? Junior’s new bride referred to this guy who barely speaks English and met Junior a couple years ago on a hunting trip with little to no contact since as a “dear friend.” The dude had an entourage of Russians (likely intelligence officers) with him for the celebration. Again, “nothing to see here?” Looks to me like front page “corruption 101” stuff you SHOULD only read about in novels.

Number two on my list: Trump’s performance during the “Iran war” which Trump has referred to as “small potatoes” or just a little “excursion.” By the way, I have yet to witness a member of the media explain the difference to Trump between “excursion” and “incursion.” Even though an action which has left thousands of Iranian citizens DEAD, (at least) 18 American service members DEAD, (at least) 800 members of American’s military injured, BILLIONS of damage to American bases in the region plus a lot of other damage to America’s Arab allies in the region plus a significant disruption to oil (and other products) flowing from the region plus the depletion of America’s strategic weapons reserve to the point where Trump seems reluctant to even defend the Saudi’s from the Houthi’s I wouldn’t consider “small potatoes.” Tell that to the family of the American’s injured or killed in the “excursion.” (Honestly, I have to say, it appears to me it’s been an “incursion.” What we seem to need is an “excursion” – meaning get the hell out of there.

My next “thought” was to write about Trump’s economy. He says there’s NO inflation. He says gas prices will come down right after the mid-term elections. (Will that be because the democrats have gained control of Congress? I can hope) He also says these gas prices are a small price for Americans to pay for Iran not having a nuclear weapon. Remember a couple things. First, in Trump 1.0 he backed “we the people” out of the “JCPOA” – the Obama led agreement where the Iranians had pledged to NEVER have a nuclear weapon and had invited inspectors in on a regular basis to make sure they were following the agreement. It appears Trump will NEVER get an agreement that solid if he ever gets and agreement at all. However, in the mean time, Americans will continue paying almost double (with diesel it is double) what they were paying before Feburary 28th when Trump allowed Bibi Netanyahu to talk him into this latest American Middle East fiasco. The result is higher prices everywhere and it appears much higher in the next few weeks.. Trump says we’ve got the “greatest” economy ever – because of the stock market. I say I’ve got a very strong feeling the stock market is headed for a MAJOR correction. It’s being fueled by a group of oligarchs fighting to be the king of AI – and, history tells me there is a thinning out of those money hungry oligarchs in the offing. Time will tell. But, for main street, the economy sucks. I do a lot of buying at the grocery store for my family and I can attest to the reality prices are going up rather quickly.

The next thing on my list was: “Will republicans support IMPEACHMENT #3 once the democrats gain control of the House? Have they had enough of the LYING and CHEATING or are they really “bosom buddies” with Trump? How many of them will lose their “seat” in the upcoming election and what kind of message does that send to the republicans who’ll be up for re-election in 2028 should democrats retake control of the Senate? Remember, in IMPEACHMENT #2 there were 7 republicans who voted to convict Trump. How many of them will be willing to stand with Trump after the House managers bring up ALL the CORRUPTION – item by item? Because, I can tell you, the list ought to be LONG! And, of course, should the democrats retake control of Congress “we the people” won’t be looking for them to “go along to get along.” I’m not the only person in this country who’s PISSED at what Trump is doing to our republic and I question if we can survive another two years of him in office – and, I believe JD Vance should be IMPEACHED right along with our so-called president who is a FELON 34 times over. Not only will “we the people” be watching closely, but so will our allies around the world. It’s put up or shut up time!

Next on the list has to do with myself repeatedly referring to Trump as “Sleepy Donald Trump.” Now, full disclosure: I’m recently 79 years old and I have a tendency to doze off during the day. But, I’m not president and I’m not sitting in rooms full of cameras and reporters when I might be just “resting my eyes.” Of course when I start drooling or my head starts bobbing back and forth as I try to stay awake I’m really more than resting my eyes. When I’m at church and close my eyes (I’m ADD) often times I have no memory of parts of the sermon. So, what I’m saying is I can identify with our 80 years old so-called president (with the 34 FELONY convictions on his record – not to mention being adjudicated to have committed sexual assault and defamation and serial FRAUD) who “nods off” during the day – I just NEVER saw Joe Biden do that and if my memory serves me correct Trump still refers to him as “Sleepy Joe Biden.” Projection??? (More full disclosure, I really like(d) Joe Biden as president) Old saying: “Don’t throw stones from a glass house.” As for the bruises on Trump’s hands and neck – I have no idea what that’s all about – but when my MOM had bruises like that show up she was diagnosed with Leukemia. No idea what the “kankles” mean. Do you actually believe the “White House” is being honest about Trump’s health? That he’s in “perfect” health??

Next in my notes asks “How is China gaining “steam” world wide. I mean, it appears to me that Xi Jinping couldn’t be happier with Trump’s decision making. Trump is opening up new avenues of trade for China – like, for example, more trade with – of all places – CANADA. For God’s sake – what is going on with Trump’s ruining our relationship with our CLOSEST ally? Now we see the European Union inviting CANADA in as an “associate” member – whatever that means. It appears to me that Canada is making waves toward more trade with China – possibly opening up Canada as a market for China’s automobile industry – which, from what I can tell is making the best cars in the world. One more “full disclosure:” I drive an electric car (I’ve been doing so since 2015 and now am driving a Ford Mustang Mach e – which, by the way, so far I love the car – I’m getting a range of around 300 miles during the summer and fall weather – it will go down during the winter weather) and I’ve paid attention to the electric car market somewhat closely. Trump has seemingly attempted to destroy the EV market with American car manufacturers – but, like virtually all “green energy” initiatives he’s simply leaving a large “chasm” for the Chinese to fill. (Kind of reminds me of when America didn’t want to have to compete with cars built in Japan many years ago.) To me, more stupidity. The Chinese EV’s, by many accounts, are the best cars in the world. I can’t totally attest to that because they are blocked from the American market. Yep, more stupidity! (Oh yes, I heard Canada was building a wall on their southern border and expect the U.S. to pay for it!)

Yikes! This is getting really long. Not too many living persons are going to read all of this, but I’ll move on to the next topic I jotted down. And, to me, this is one of the most important ones – probably should be closer to the top so it would get more of a chance to be read. But, here we go: Elon Musk and what I’ll call the Silicon Valley mafia – the OLIGARCHS (BILLIONAIRES) who hate democracy and are the financial engine behind the Trump, and therefore Project 2025, push to turn America into a fascist state. I’ve written numerous times here that the foundation for a fascist takeover of any democracy is the partnership of corporations with the government – which you can see clearly is happening (probably already happened) in America. If/when democrats retake control of Congress this will be one of the main things they MUST accomplish – and that is to reign in these OLIGARCHS through higher taxes and more stringent regulations. They, along with Trump’s blessing, are obliterating many federal regulations which are threatening the health and safety of “we the people” – especially working Americans.

This topic gets a second paragraph because the goal of the Silicon Valley mafia is apparent to anyone willing to look closely at what they’re doing but let me explain for anyone who doesn’t understand what these BILLIONAIRES are up to. Take Musk, for example. He’s apparently hovering around a net worth of a cool TRILLION and, of course, like the rest of them, he wants more – much more. With these people we’re witnessing a TINY group of Americans with an insatiable “thirst” for MONEY. (I believe Trump is trying to “piggy back” on these people as best he can and while he can to get in on the looting of the American taxpayers) Musk did a “I’m going to say the quiet part out loud” thing at Trump’s inauguration (which he spent close to $300 MILLION to make sure it happened) when he threw THREE Sieg Hiel’s – as if he’s an expert at doing so – with nary a whimper from republicans or our “mainstream media.” (MSM) Zuckerberg is buying up real estate where he can “get away” from the “fan” when you know what is hitting it and Peter Thiel purchased a large chunk of New Zealand’s remote outback and became an “honorary” citizen of New Zealand – so, he’s now a citizen of Germany (born there) the U.S. (naturalized) and New Zealand (They apparently need the money or ???) Both Thiel and Musk grew up in apartheid South Africa – Thiel amongst a German “community” that still supported Hitler. Zuckerberg, Bezos and the rest of them seem to just go along because they want to get even richer no matter how they have to do it. Not only are these people dangerous and apparently “above the law” but they are openly supporting the destruction of our democratic republic. Holy smokes! I think I’m going to have to leave the rest of my list until next time. Stay tuned…

Final Thought: Today Trump was at the U.N. making a fool of himself and demonstrating, in person, in front of the world what an embarrassment he is to the United States. In the process of bashing one country after another he bragged about his CRIMINAL invasion of Venezuela where he ordered the MURDER of over 200 people in small outboard boats in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific, blasted Cuba to the point where their delegation walked out, and chose to, once again, commit the WAR CRIME of destroying the Iranian nation – apparently threatening to kill them (Iranians) all. I’m going to stop here because writing about this awful person (Trump) is making me sick to my stomach!
