i’ve said this all along – since before Trump2.0’s inauguration (Where Musk threw the Sieg Hiels) – Trump and his puppet masters (Project 2025 authors) planned the “flood the zone” strategy right from day one. While all us “libtards” are chasing our tails they sneak through their important “stuff” while nobody’s looking. However, people are now paying much closer attention. So while Trump continues to stumble over himself in his attempt to continue as Putin’s #1 “useful idiot” he’s beginning to get competition from others in his realm. Take for example “special envoy” Steve Witcoff to Vladimir Putin: “I commend you sir, YOU are a humanitarian! While, at the same time, Putin was ordering strikes on Ukrainian targets like a kindergarden, or individual homes, or other places where there were lots of “civilians.” Actually, a “humanitarian” would never be involved in such WAR CRIMES, would they? But, here we are. Witcoff is, in reality, representing all of us here in the U.S. Makes me ill writing that!

After Elon Musk throttles down Starshield for the Ukrainians leading to calls by many progressives to nationalize both Starlink and Starshield, then Musk’s “donations” to the republican party for the upcoming elections increases from something approaching $400 MILLION to “donations” approaching $500 MILLION! And, trust me, the “advertising” coming from those “donations” is not of the “positive” nature. Like trying to “sell” Trump. Just take a moment to listen to the dribble coming out of Trump’s mouth as he barnstorms the country and you know what republican candidates are spewing in their Musk funded desperation to remain in POWER. And, from my vantage point it may be working. Lately Musk has been leveling a threat at those who are pointing out what a despicable human he is by saying: “Those who live by the sword also die by the sword.” Then threatening anyone who, in his words “comes after me” will be met by his wrath – with the implication he’s got some kind of super power or something. His name should have been DICK! (Remember Musk said he wasn’t going to be making political donations)

I’ve listened to the disgusting garbage coming from the mouth of Mike Rogers in Michigan and watched the “deplorable” ad put forth by Vivek Ramaswamy in Ohio and I believe that unadulterated LYING will continue right up to election day and beyond. After all, LYING is the #1 requirement of anyone aspiring to be part of MAGA! Hell, Trump has even ordered the DOJ to file a lawsuit challenging the results in Alaska’s Senate race – get this – ELEVEN days BEFORE the damn election. That should tell us all what is in store should the democrats take control of Congress on November 3rd.

There’s an old saying about LIARS like Trump: “You’re so full of s*@t your eyes are brown.” To me, the Ramaswamy ad (Amy Acton’s mother – who hasn’t seen her daughter since authorities removed her and her brother from the mother’s home due to abuse IN NINETEEN SEVENTY EIGHT – which included Acton’s stepfather indicted for raping her when she was between the ages of 10 and 12) ranks right up there with HW Bush’s “Willie Horton” ad back in the late 1980’s. Of course both Trump and JD Vance would approve of BOTH. I mean, it was Trump and Vance who made up a story of the Haitians in Springfield Ohio “eating the cats and dogs.” So it shouldn’t surprise anyone they approve of Ms. Acton’s birth Mom LYING about her daughter’s abuse something like 50 years ago. (Corroborated, by the way, by court documents) After all Trump is predominantly mentioned in Epstein’s files relating to those people (allegedly including himself) involved in some kind of way with pedophiles.

It appears (if the polls are anywhere near to accurate) that democrats are going to retake control of the House of Representatives (less any shenanigans Trump and Johnson might try to pull off) but the Senate seems to be “up in the air.” Democrats, according to respected polling observers, seem to have at least a 50/50 chance to control the Senate. However, these pundits are pointing out that it will take a 51/49 democrat advantage to regain control. From my vantage point I believe democrats will need to have at least a 52/48 advantage after the election results are certified. The reason I’m saying this is I don’t trust John Fedderman as far as I can throw him (and I’m a pretty weak liberal who’ll be 80 at his next birthday). I’m convinced if democrats have a 51/49 advantage Fedderman is going to switch parties. It will then be 50/50 and republicans will remain in control. Yikes!!!

Here’s a quick rundown of what I believe should be the most important actions of the democrats if they gain control of Congress. I agree they need to pass a plethora of progressive bills and force Trump to veto them. That all is of extreme importance – like setting the stage for “Medicare for all” so that the American public can realize that this is well past time for it to happen. Of course, it will take a democratic president and a democratic Congress in 2028 to actually make that happen. Issues like Climate change, “affordability” (To me it’s “income inequality”), etc. But, there’s one overriding issue I believe “we the people” must address head on – and that’s the OLIGARCHS who are scheming to turn America into a fascist state where they can continue pilfering TRILLIANS from America’s middle class taxpayers while they cram “AI” and “data centers” down the throats of the American public. Naturally, like all good fascists, they want “we the people” to give them BILLIONS in tax breaks in order for them to build these data centers that will end up further exasperating the income gap between “us and them.”

“We the people” must STOP falling for their shtick and start taxing them in a way to discourage their race to be the king of the “AI” hill when all is said and done. For example, it wouldn’t take much to fix the Social Security and Medicare funding problems. Simply take off the “caps” for paying into the Social Security and Medicare trust funds. I fully believe this would be the most essential step in creating the funding for 100% Medicare for all to become a reality. Americans would have better health outcomes and the cost of healthcare in America would be reduced substantially.

People like Musk, Peter Thiel, Marc Andreesen, Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook, Larry Ellison (plus his son David) and the rest of the OLIGARCHS “we the people” have allowed to threaten our republic MUST be brought under control. This idea they are all pushing to see how much WEALTH they can accumulate is NOT healthy for our republic – a second Gilded Age – and it’s time our elected leaders put the future of our nation ahead of continuing to provide government contracts for greedy corporate executives and begin the process of “clawing back” some of the proceeds of the Reagan tax breaks that have come to be priority #1 in every republican administration since. Once again I urge you to read “The Nerd Reich” by Gil Dolan. Talk about sobering! At the same time it’s an encouragement to keep fighting to return to a nation that values workers AND immigrants!

Dolan’s book makes it clear the “tech bros.” from Silicon Valley view themselves as the world’s elite and they want to, in essence, find ways to succeed from the union. They envision creating kind of “utopia” like “new countries” (of course, inside the old one) where the techies could thrive amongst themselves. As if, for example, the rest of the country would simply say it’s OK. I believe it was Marc Andreesen (of Netscape fame) along with others I can’t remember who ponied up $900,000,000 for 60 THOUSAND acres an hour or two north of San Francisco. Is that where their new “country” will be located? I personally think Thiel’s huge purchase in the outback of New Zealand would be more like it. I’ll say it again, “these tech bros. must be STOPPED!

They found comfort in the manifesto of the right wingers who wrote Project 2025 and one by one they came along side Trump in the runup to Trump 2.0. As a matter of fact JD Vance is their “guy.” Despite him referring to Trump, at one point, as America’s Hitler, Thiel and a bunch more of the OLIGARCHS pressured Trump to choose Vance as his VP. And, of course, they have big plans for when Vance becomes president. To me, more of a reason for Trump to remain in office for the last two years of his term – unless Vance can be IMPEACHED and convicted right along with Trump. To me, these right wing “tech bros” are much more dangerous than Trump – “we the people” just don’t know it because they’re succeeding at staying in the shadows. Somehow, they MUST be exposed to the American people. They see technology in terms of the MONEY they can make as opposed to the DAMAGE it does to the rest of us. GREED personified! Stay tuned!!

Final Thought: Some of these “tech bros.” have not been shy about their writing – it’s just been published in places where most Americans never go. I would have no idea without the help of Mr. Duran in his “The Nerd Reich.” These boys don’t shy away from espousing pure FASCIST rhetoric and, in some instances are even honest about it. They (along with Trump and his project 2025 puppet masters) HATE democracy. They believe the world should be ruled by the elite few who’ve mastered the technology of social media (they want to control the message going into people’s “heads”) and, with it, artificial intelligence. They’re like a cohort. Thiel, Andreesen, Musk, Zuckerberg, Ellison, Open AI’s Sam Altman, and a small group of others are intertwined in their TRILLION dollar ventures and they have an endless amount of money to spend in order to achieve their selfish GREEDY goals.

Musk has recently remarked to those who have questioned his motives and reminded people of him throwing those Sieg Hiels at Trump’s inauguration that “Those who live by the sword die by the sword” and said anyone who criticizes him will get his full on “wrath” – or words to that effect. (referenced above) Well, I would say to that it can work both ways. He’s clearly coming for those of us who think like me with his unlimited SPENDING in the runup to the mid-term elections so, if his MONEY doesn’t work this time I would suggest “we the people” should be coming after him. The members of Congress quoted as suggesting Musk’s Starlink/Starshield and his Rocket business should be nationalized actually will have more POWER than him with democrats in control.

It’s now clear the “order” shutting down the speeds of Starshield in Ukraine – resulting in more civilian and military DEATHS than would have otherwise occured came directly from Musk. He claimed they had “gone too far” in attacking Russian petroleum targets. That while Russia has been attacking Ukrainian power utility locations blacking out numerous places while winter is setting in. Ukraine has refrained from attacking civilian infrastructure throughout the war while Putin is continually ordering strikes on Ukrainian civilian structures. History will look very unfavorably on Musk, Trump, Vance, Witcoff, Kushner, and any other of the “tech bros” (or anyone else – like Congressional republicans) that side with Russia in their INVASION of Ukraine. I believe Ukraine is fighting to prevent WW III. Putin will NOT stop there if he’s able to defeat them. Full Stop!

I’m starting the read of “The Nerd Reich” by Gil Duran and he starts it off with a 2010 quote by Peter Thiel, born in Germany who became a “naturalized US citizen” and who grew up in a German community in South Africa who supported Hitler: Thiel is the Chairman of the Board of Palintir which is involved with incorporating AI into the collection and disemination of data. (Way over my head – which is the way they like it) He is also the reason JD Vance is our VP. Here’s Thiel in 2010:

“The initial founding vision was that we were going to use technology to change the whole world and basically overturn the monetary system of the world….the basic idea was that we could never win an election on getting certain things because we were in such a small minority… But maybe you could actually unilaterally change the world – without having to constantly convince people and beg people and plead with people who were never going to agree with you – through technological means… technology is this incredible alternative to politics.” This was his incredibly selfish libertarian self speaking – to a bunch of other incredibly selfish libertarian “tech bros.” What’s coming for him and his brethren is why he’s got citizenship in several countries, including New Zealand, with a large chunk of New Zealand “Real Estate” purchased for his getaway when the s*#t hits the fan.

I wrote the above about two weeks ago and just haven’t felt the motivation to keep writing. This “blog” is where I unload my frustration with the world “as it is” into cyberspace. Well, hopefully, in a couple weeks that will all be changing, at least here in the United States. If we manage to actually have a “blue wave” (tsunami???) without Trump pulling off another coup, some “stuff” is going to be changing. And, based on Trump’s recent “lifting” the less than 30 day old sanctions on Russia so he can provide a “lifeline” to Putin in his attempt at reconstituting the Soviet Union (beginning with Ukraine) – which people like me consider treasonous – (To me, a lot more of Trump’s actions have been “treasonous” – despite the fact the WAR in Iran is not an officially “declared” war) is the best chance I’ve seen yet for Trump to be IMPEACHED (#3) and, this time, CONVICTED – for unilaterally abandoning our traditional allies and kissing up to Putin at the expense of an untold number of Ukrainians. It’s time to get him “outa here” with JD Vance right behind. These people are the epitome, in my view, of “un-American.”

And, considering virtually every republican in Congress went along with the so-called Linsey O. Graham sanctions on Russia but have seemed to lose their voices as soon as Trump violates the very legislation he just signed last month tells me the entire bunch of them should be sent packing! OK, I know what you’re thinking – if you’ve read any of my posts over the past nearly 20 years here – I’ve been lobbying for “this version” of the republican party to be “voted into the History books” since the days of GW Bush/Dick Cheney’s ILLEGAL invasion of Iraq. Now we’re in the next “iteration” of what seems like the same “playbook” only in Iran – a much more difficult “target” than Iraq – and, yep, republicans are silent. Not a “peep” from virtually ANY of them. It’s time for them to go.

I just voted and took my ballot to the local ballot drop box. In my state (Washington) it’s completely vote by mail – I don’t wait around – I filled my ballot out the next day after it arrived – IN THE MAIL! And, I’ve pointed out here I’ve NEVER belonged to either of the political parties in America. However, as someone who grew up during the Viet Nam fiasco – the invasion of Iraq was, to me, like “deja vu all over again.” Since then, with one exception, I’ve voted AGAINST republicans – up and down the ballot – in EVERY election. (And, I VOTE in EVERY election) Now, truth be told, I live in a conservative, rural part of liberal Washington state so usually the person I vote for LOSES. In the district where my House representative comes from I’m somewhat expecting a republican to win this year. That’s because our Democratic representative, Marie Perez, is famous for voting WITH republicans on kep pieces of legislation and many of her “liberal” constituents say they’re going to “sit this one out.” I’ve also been very disappointed in her, but not enough so as to vote for her republican opponent or not vote in that race because I believe with a democratic controlled House, her “antics” will be less of a problem. She does vote with democrats MOST of the time.

Here’s the thing I’ll be looking closely at. If (When) democrats IMPEACH Trump for the THIRD time, how will she vote? The previous representative from our district was republican Jaimie Herrera Buetler who voted to IMPEACH Trump. She’s the only republican I’ve voted for in the past 20 years. And, of course, the local republicans turned on her and her vote against Trump proved to be her downfall. What a world? My guess is Marie Perez will vote AGAINST impeaching Trump when the time comes (I hope I’m wrong) if she actually pulls off a win this November. The reality is the democrats will have a “full plate” should they regain control of Congress. Here’s some things I think they need to focus on:

Aside from IMPEACHING Trump (and Vance and Hegseth and RFK Jr. and Patel and Blanche) I believe they need to reverse the cuts to Medicaid and Snap, fix the ACA at least until they can actually put together a well thought out transformation to Medicare for all (at 100% so we can be like other Western nations regarding healthcare), defund ICE (and prosecute the ones who’ve murdered people in the streets), close the concentration camps of Trump 2.0, investigate ALL of Trump’s surrogates who are involved in the grifting – including Trump himself, his family members, his sycophants, RELEASE the Epstein files without the improper redactions (and, with proper ones protecting the victims of the abuse by the Epstein class) – investigate what Putin has on Trump (does it relate to Epstein?) – knock down the “ballroom” and rebuild the East Wing of the White House – block the so-called “Arch de Trump” – OMG I could go on and on, but hopefully, you get the idea.

You’re correct, I should have mentioned defund the “war” in Iran (which Trump is supposedly going to escalate once the mid-terms are over) – investigate Trump, Hegseth, and anyone else making decisions in this latest American fiasco. Also, the MURDERING of people in ski boats off the coast of Venezuela MUST be investigated – including the invasion of Venezuela. Their former president should be returned and let the people of Venzuela decide the future for him and his wife. No more OFFENSIVE weapons to Israel until Netanyahu is removed and Israel is out of GAZA and the West Bankf. Which reminds me, the U.S. should IMMEDIATELY sign onto the International Criminal Court and honor their decisions regarding World leaders who are committing WAR CRIMES (likely including Trump, Hegseth, and others). If Bibi Netanyahu or Vladimir Putin EVER set foot on U.S. soil again, they should be turned over to the I.C.C.

And, for anyone who questions my contention that Trump (and his sycophants) is/are fascists take a good read in Duran’s “The Nerd Reich.” Thiel and Musk are the obvious (alleged) fascists. I mean Musk did throw a couple Sieg Hiels at Trump’s inauguration, but, “whatever.” And, the more it looks like democrats are going to take back control of Congress the MORE money people like Thiel, Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos, etc. etc. are throwing into support for republicans because they can see the writing on the wall. And, of course, democrats will be “under the gun” to act in a way that provides some accountability for these “tech bros” who are stealing our taxpayers “blind.” Musk’s net worth has quadrupled since he “invested” $300 MILLION into getting Trump elected. He said, he was done spending money in politics – but, well, this “mid-term” he’s already closing in on $400 MILLION. Just sayin……

Final Thought: I believe it’s time for Congress to reverse the taxing policies which were laid out in the early 1970’s by Milton Friedman and Lewis Powell and put into “orbit” during the Reagan “revolution.” Republicans manage to convince blue collar working class voters to vote against their own self interests. At the time I was working in a sawmill – with several men who had not finished High School – and, one by one, they decided Reagan was the “man” and switched from voting for democrats to voting for republicans. Francis Shaffer convinced evangelical Christians that Reagan cared about the abortion issue and, of course, the rest is history. I just have to wonder if Trump’s betrayal of virtually everything he promised in the runup to 2024’s election PLUS his betrayal of Ukraine and his curious bromance with Putin will be enough to turn some of these people away from the republicans.

I know I’m not going to be the one to figure out what Putin has on Trump, but it’s got to be something big. And, there are those saying Putin’s “kompromat” on Trump goes right back to Epstein. And, he knows how to play Trump like a cheap fiddle. It’s now being reported that not only did Trump (illegally?) block the Lindsey Graham sanction LAW so he could purchase a couple days worth of Russian diesel, but he’s going so far as to HELP Putin in Putin’s ILLEGAL war against Ukraine. (Obviously, they do have something in common) Here’s the deal, Trump is betraying Ukraine for what amounts to virtually no relief at the pump while Putin is giving Iran intelligence allowing them to attack Americans and American targets in the Middle East – do you get why I’m sick to my stomach over it?

I’ve said here on many occasions “we the people” won’t be able to handle the DAMAGE Trump is inflicting on the country over the next 2 1/2 years. And, what he’s doing to Ukraine makes it IMPERATIVE in my mind that he needs to be REMOVED from office – so he can face the legal consequences of his traitorous actions. Joe Biden had strengthened the NATO alliance and had the resolve to help the Ukrainians in their fight to save their fledgling democracy and Trump and Musk (and others of the “tech bros.”) are doing everything they can to “make Russia great again.” The upcoming mid-terms will be a decisive point in determining the future of America’s and Ukraine’s democracies. May God help us!

I wrote the title to this post before I started typing. I don’t know if Zelensky should get the “peace prize” but he should get something. Some kind of “prize” because, to me, he demonstrates the kind of leader we’ve needed in America for – certainly – the years where Trump has created DAMAGE to our nation that will take at least a generation to overcome. And, it keeps getting worse. But, Zelensky is leading a nation that is fighting for it’s existence – a fledgling democracy willing to put it all on the line against one of the world’s worst tyrants. And, make no mistake, Trump wants to be like Putin and he wants America to be like Russia. He hates our constitutional form of democracy, he hates over half of our people (those like me who are “liberals”), and he hates that he can’t just do whatever the hell he wants like Putin in Russia.

So, while Trump is lifting sanctions on Russia (likely illegally) the Ukrainians were busy attacking Russian data centers. Here’s what is extremely interesting about that. Once these data centers were offline all of a sudden right wing misinformation (dribble) suddenly dropped almost in half from platforms like Xwitter (Musk’s Nazi propaganda site) and on platforms across the EU and UK. For example, the garbage in Germany pushing the AfD (Alternative for Deutchland – a Neo-Nazi movement) and the United Kingdom (this is lies from the same place as the “stuff” which blasted England’s Social Media sites with propaganda lifting up the vote on Brexit) misinformation campaign uplifting Nigel Farage dropped nearly in half once these data centers were hit by Ukrainian drones. Just made it clear for anyone who was a skeptic that the Social Media platforms in the “West” have been infiltrated and infected by Russian troles (bots) for the past decade or more. Russia’s “active measure” campaign.

The Russian active measures campaign is a doctrine of political warfare employed by the Soviet Union and continued by the Russian Federation. This strategy encompasses various covert operations aimed at influencing global events and undermining adversaries. Not only was it actively involved in convincing the British voters to vote in favor of leaving the EU but it was critically involved in helping Trump win the 2016 election – as reported by Robert Mueller in the investagtion of the Trump administration’s connection to the Russians in his first campaign. And, of course, one would have to be on the stupid side to think that help hasn’t been ongoing since – including the upcoming midterm elections where republicans are fearing a shellacking from a so-called “blue wave.”

Now (f)Elon Musk is complaining about the Ukrainians because these Russian “bots” (or whatever the hell you call them) have, in his words, “gone to far.” (It’s the Ukrainians who’ve gone to far in Musk’s words) His right wing toilet of a social media site has lost a third or more of it’s traffic. Now, remember – and I keep reminding anyone who might happen upon one of my posts that this is the same (f)Elon Musk who threw three Sieg Hiels at Trump’s inaugural party – to the apparent notice of no one in the Mainstream Media (MSM). I’m about to begin reading “The Nerd Reich” which is a book that, based on my preliminary scanning, is focused on the reality that our “tech bros” who are arm and arm with Trump hate democracy – they are, in essence, (and, by definition) fascists. And, anyone who doesn’t understand Trump and the Project 2025 “bros” are fascists I would submit have not read the Project 2025 “manifesto.”

As, by now anyone who might have read this far would know, Trump over the weekend simply unilaterally removed sanctions on Russia, made a deal with Putin to purchase 300,000 “tons” of diesel for the U.S. and the world markets in a desperate attempt to bring down the hugely expensive diesel prices which fuels the nations trucking industry and the equipment farmers use to both harvest their crops and plant the future crops. As a former small farmer I have a fairly good understanding of how this impacts not only our farmers, but essentially the cost of groceries for “we the people.” Between Trump’s war and his tariffs on places like Canada the cost of fertilizer has skyrocketed to the point where many farmers are going to be going out of business. I experienced this back in the early to mid 1980’s when policies of the Reagan administration made it impossible for my farm to survive. And, I can tell you it was, at the time, devastating! (For anyone who watches Rachel Maddow on MSNOW you already understand the difference between the way “we” (Americans) measure fuel and the way the Russians measure fuel. “We the people” measure it in “barrels” and the Russians measure it in “tons.” Therefore, when you see Trump trumpeting buying “300,000 tons” of diesel from Russia, well, you know he got that “straight from the horses mouth.” (ie Putin) Suggesting it was Putin who initiated the “deal.” I’d sure like to know what it is that Putin “has” on Trump. Enough said!)

So, while Trump and his cowardly sycophants in the republican controlled Congress are making life miserable for America’s farmers, small business owners. and – in general – working class people they SHOULD be pulling America’s troups out of the Middle East – and, if they must declare victory do so knowing that MOST Americans and people around the world know they are full of BS – as the actual way to get the prices of diesel (and gasoline) to come down not by publicly claiming the Ukrainians should get a new president. When I heard Trump say that all I could think of was “projection” – only in this instance maybe he understands “we the people” need to get a new president.

I’ve said here over and over if Trump serves another two and a half years the DAMAGE will be extremely difficult to overcome. The American voters MUST understand they can’t vote into office another republican president for at least a generation. Plus, once the democrats take control of Congress “we the people” must make it clear to them we don’t expect “business as usual.” Hopefully there will be enough new voices in Congress to begin planning how to implement “Medicare for all.” (Although, I believe it SHOULD be 100% Medicare instead of 80% as it is now. I have Medicare with a supplemental plan to cover the 20% Medicare doesn’t cover. People need to understand it’s time to stop falling for all the scare tactics of the republicans and realize “we the people” SHOULD invest in our own people which, to me, would be the real “America first.” The actions of the Urainians – led by Zelensky – are uncovering much of the plans of right wing neo-Nazi’s not only in America but across Europe and he (and, of course, they) should be thanked for being the leader(s) we don’t have in our own country. I’m not sure there’s another leader in the world I admire as mush as I admire Volodymyr Zelensky and I want to openly thank him! Stay tuned…….

Final Thought: Speaking of “data centers.” One advantage I have as someone nearing the ripe old age of 80 (next fall) is a small bit of wisdom from years of experiencing different aspects of American life. I ended my career as a Middle School teacher (23 years) but I had what I often call as four other lives – based on my working life of around 55 years. I have NEVER had as negative a feeling about anything in the American economy as I have about “data centers” and “artificial intelligence.” It just feels as if “we the people” are being force fed a MONEY making scam by a bunch of “tech bros” who know more about computers than us peons. Every morning when I open my computer I check the financial page and keep reading reports that the SP 500 is being propped up by three or four tech stocks and the market itself is being propped up by the so-called “magnificent 7.”

The companies behind these stocks are being run by a bunch of right wing GREEDY “tech bros” who can’t seem to get rich enough and who could care less about the damage their “discovery” of artificial intelligence will do to our country (and, of course by extension, the world). I’m already seeing examples of what I feared when I first learned of this “deplorable” invention. It is being abused by bad actors – including our own president and his support group and, obviously the Russians – which we can see from the result of their data centers being taken off line. These people have no moral compass regarding what they will do to make MORE MONEY! (and retain power) It’s up to “we the people” to put a stop to this by rooting republicans out of leadership in Congress.

If you’ve followed my rants at all – I started writing on this “blog” in 2008 – you know I’ve been lamenting about the importance of the American people voting the republican party into the History books from “day one.” It’s getting to the point that if we don’t do so in this upcoming election it may not happen. Should democrats prevail in November here’s a few things I expect: First, I expect SOME impeachments – starting with Trump and Hegseth in whatever order makes the most sense. And, the American people should make it clear to republicans in the Senate we expect convictions. (I should also include JD Vance) Next they MUST begin laying out a plan to implement “Medicare for all.” I believe this would provide BETTER health care for Americans at a much lower cost. The last thing I’ll say here – although there are obviously more issues – would be making sure that the EPSTEIN files are published WITHOUT all the redactions protecting Trump and the “Epstein class” from accountability. These SHOULD be the type of things on the tops of the democrats “to do” list if they take control of Congress. As I said above “business as usual” is not acceptable. (I forgot to add this – they MUST begin “clawing back” the taxes America’s BILLIONAIRE class have pilfered over the past 40+ years via the Reaganesque taxcuts “for the rich.” I’ll add more on that next time!)

Trump says his god awful “ballroom” must be built (without Congressional approval) because it’s necessary for “national security.” He also says his so-called “trumphal arch” is necessary because of “national security.” The (illegal) invasion if Iran was necessary due to Iran’s threat to our “national security.” (He claimed, at first, they were near having a nuclear bomb that could reach the U.S.) In order to demonstrate this topic almost causes him to stutter he’s now saying he banned Politico, CNN, and MSNOW from the “White House” due to their threat to our “national security.” (And, I’m sure he’s used the same excuse in multiple other ways I just can’t remember. He’ll likely use “national security” as his excuse for the emergency when he calls off the 2026 mid-term elections. Oh so Russia like)

I’ve been saying since “day one” of Trump 2.0 that America will NOT withstand four years of this tyrant, er mob boss, er “so-called president.” In fact, I’m beginning to think the WORLD will not be able to withstand the DAMAGE caused by this nin-com-poop of a president. For example, it’s not as if Trump’s ill-advised, illegal war in Iran is only screwing up the United States. European countries’ economies are close to recession due to the spike in energy prices (and availability) along with the other factors that go along with rising oil prices and a SHORTAGE of oil. This is a world wide issue.

Europe and China are much more committed to “green energy” via more EV’s (Electric Vehicles), solar energy, and wind energy than the U.S. Europe is producing 20% of its energy via solar power and China is the leading country in the world in renewable energy. China leads the world in solar installations and is a major contributor to global renewable energy growth. Trump is still pushing “clean coal!” (Whatever that is) By the time Trump is out of office (barring an IMPEACHMENT and removal by the Senate) The U.S. will be so far behind in the renewable energy field it will be near impossible to catch up. But, hey, we’ll have a “golden ballroom.”

Trump’s latest fiasco was getting all the tech bros at the “White House” so he could change the “name” of AI to SI – from Artificial Intelligence to “Super Intelligence.” Once again he was seen patting himself on the back for such a creative renaming of what most Americans don’t want anything to do with. (Reminds me of him bragging to have discovered there’s a “b” in the word “dumb.” Who would’ve known that?) At this meeting of all these AI “gurus” he got them to agree to “self monitor” the advancement in AI because, well, OK, he must know they are incapable of such a thing but there’s money in it for him. They are fighting amongst themselves to have the most powerful AI platform and to have the MOST data centers around the nation/globe so they can make the MOST money possible. That’s (MONEY) the thing that motivates these tech bros. (Can you imagine any of them taking an oath to our constitution?)

It’s now about a month until the (above mentioned) mid-term elections arrive and, like I’ve said here many times, I don’t expect Trump to take a thorough thrashing from America’s voters “sitting down.” I don’t believe he has any intention of simply allowing these elections to take place in a free and fair manner. He knows he’s going to be IMPEACHED shortly after democrats retake the House and it’s not a certainty he won’t be convicted in the Senate. After all, just the government sponsored propaganda TV “spots” the “White House” produced and is running (to the tune of $20 MILLION of taxpayer finds) is blatantly ILLEGAL! Naturally, Trump could care less if these ads are illegal – doing illegal stuff is routine in Trump 2.0. His personal lawyer, er the attorney general, has been complaining that Minnesota judges are unethical for pointing out the administration violated something like 100 court directives to members of the media. Of for shame! And, Trump et al are ignoring the judges ruling regarding the three news agencies he unconstitutionally blocked from access to the “White House.”

I’ve been slacking a bit – the above paragraphs were written about a week ago. There are now – as I’m typing this 26 days until the election. Brace yourself for the “October Surprise” Trump will come up with in a desperate attempt to prevent the will of the people from becoming a reality. I have no idea what their plan is, but I can virtually guarantee you the Project 2025 authors who are embedded in Trump 2.0 in various ways are prepared to act. The potential for a Blue “tsunami” is real and it’s causing Trump and his sycophants to be trying – well, who knows what? From JD Vance “begging” for two more years of republican control of Congress to Trump offering varying sums of MONEY to motivate people to vote republicans it appears nothing is working. ($90 to Seniors, $500 to some ACA “victims,” to $5000 for every adult American – that would be about $1.4 TRILLION added to the national debt – if republicans remain in control of Congress – different levels of the same strategy – BRIBERY)

Here might be what’s driving Trump’s desperation more than even IMPEACHMENT. With republicans in charge of Congress the full release of the EPSTEIN files will finally be a reality. I personally don’t believe there is any other issue which has Trump “shaking in his boots” more than the possibility “we the people” would find out the TRUTH regarding his 15 to 20 years as Epstein’s best buddy. Somehow I can’t get the picture of Trump’s “birthday card” to Epstein out of my mind – where he brought up their “wonderful secrets.” What do you think those “secrets” might be? Do you believe the allegations by the woman who claims Trump assaulted her (both sexually and physically) when she was 13 or 14 years old (back in the 1990’s) was the only situation where he participated in Epstein’s pedophilia? I can only speculate because Trump and Blanche have been participating in the “mother” of all coverups.

There are many I’ve read who have suggested the invasion of Iran was one of the many attempts by Trump to take American’s minds off of the Epstein files. The Epstein “coverup” seems to be – as has been reported in numerous places – part of the “flood the zone” strategy causing “we the people” to be “chasing our tails” so that we never “catch” it (our tail) at anytime. Meaning while we are witnessing a neverending supply of scandals we never are able to focus on any of them. For example, today’s scandal has to do with Kimberly Guilfoyle, our ambassador to Greece, allegedly providing “help” with the Trump administration in exchange for a $100,000 payment to her Amex credit card account. That would be a “quid pro quo.” (Apparently, there are “receipts” – text messages which she attempted to tell Eric Deters to stop because it was leaving a trail) This will be today’s scandal, tomorrow’s “history.” Guifoyle was Don Jr.’s fiance’ – so, there could be some “secrets” that will allow her to remain the ambassador to Greece.

Even before the news about Guilfoyle had a chance to give people at least one day to process the reality of another member of Trump’s “team” participating in CORRUPTION – I mean it usually happens “only” on days ending in “y” – we got another “doozy” coming from our “boozy” Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. No, he wasn’t reaffirming his racist and bigotted speech to young officers in America’s military academies, he was announcing the soldier who murdered 14 soldiers at Fort Hood in Texas back in 2009 (I believe he wounded another 30) was himself going to be murdered via the death penalty. I knew this guy was facing the death penalty, but Hegseth is taking it to another level. The culprit (I’m not going to use his name) is now going to be murdered (er executed – not sure the difference) via firing squad. This is a rare form of Capital punishment. likely to be more “popular” after the recent failed execution via lethal injection in Tennessee. Here’s the rub, for me – Hegseth wants to “livestream” the execution. Personally, I find this spectacle nauseating. This will be the first execution of a soldier by other soldiers since WW II. That’s all I’ll say on that “scandal.” Stay Tuned!!!

Final Thought: I read, the other day (and, I can’t remember where), that Trump considers ANYONE who uses the term “Artificial Intelligence” the “enemy.” OK, so after reading that I immediately put those (deplorable) words into the “title” of this rant. (Which is taking me quite a few days to finish) And, I couldn’t resist including the word “Epstein” as well, simply because I don’t want anyone to forget it – especially considering the odds favoring democrats taking control of the House after the mid-terms (if we have them). And, today, I read about Trump suggesting Ukraine needs a new President because they keep attacking Russia’s oil infrastructure – obviously because of Trump’s TREASONOUS agreement to lift sanctions on Russia in return for “we the people” paying through the nose to buy their diesel. I join with the others who pointed out it’s “we the people” who need a new President (and, it’s not JD Vance).

After I wrote down the words to the “title of this piece” I was reminded of one of the strategies I used back in the day when I was teaching 6th grade Middle Schoolers. I had a white board in the front of the room and one to the left of where the students were facing when they took their seats at the beginning of class. When there was something I absolutely wanted them to write down in their planners I would put that on the white board to their left and on the one in the front of the room I’d write: “Whatever you do, DO NOT look at the other white board and write down what it says! Of course, they would immediately look that way, write everything down, and the day would be off to a good start. Often times, I feel dealing with Trump and his sycophants is similar to attempting to teach sixth graders. Trump reminds me of the ultimate spoiled sixth grade bully! In the tradition of FDR I feel Trump HATES people like me, and it seems likely most of us “welcome” his HATRED! May God help us! Yikesee!!

I’ve been fighting myself to actually write once again – I’ve been “absent” for the past couple of weeks. I thought I’d try something new and decided to write down a bunch of things I could include in my next post. The list ended up being about 12 to 15 items and after I jotted them down all I could do was give out a “whew” as I pondered putting the list into a post. Of course, by the time a couple days passed by the list was already a bit “old news” due to Trump’s “a scandal a day” strategy to Trump 2.0. Then, in the last couple of days more reports have surfaced about ICE abusing any reasonable expectation of their “power” under our constitution. The constitution Trump and his sycophants appear to be hell bent on turning into part of American history – that is, a thing of the past.

Tonight, when I saw a young man sitting on the curb in Austin Texas with local police officers cutting off his shirt – showing the bullet hole in his upper torso – clearly near his spine – with his hands behind his back and cuffed I got really, once again, pissed off. Then, when I heard the man was sent to the hospital for FOUR hours and then removed to one of the ICE concentration camps a couple hours from Austin – with the bullet STILL lodged next to his spine, no pain medication, and no place to lie down except on the floor I got really ANGRY – and, I’m usually pretty “even keeled.” Fortunately, it was later reported a member of Texas’ congressional democratic party got him out of the concentration camp and into a hospital where he was supposed to get the treatment he deserved. (I’m still not sure he did)

Were they going to wait until the bullet caused him permanent damage to his spinal cord? Of course, as in virtually every shooting reported by members of Trump’s SS (er ICE goons) there will likely be NO investigation – even though the ICE agent apparently fired his weapon through the rear window of the guy’s car – the victim was delivering for “door dash.” OMG! I saw pictures of the guy’s car – the side of it was virtually TOTALED! The ICE agents, in an unmarked car, apparently pulled next to the victim’s car and sideswiped it – not once but TWICE – as if the guy was supposed to understand what was happening to him. So, they totaled his car and then SHOT him in the back from behind the car. Talk about your “profiles in cowardice.” (The name of a book I just ordered at Barnes and Noble today)

So, now it appears I have no choice but to make an attempt to write the post I’ve been putting off for the past couple of weeks. And, trust me, I fully understand MOST of my “readers” are “bots” – which I actually have no idea what they are – but, I digress. The first item I jotted down that I need to write about is Trump Jr.’s wedding gift from one of Putin’s Oligarch buddies who is noted to be part of the Russian mafia. But, what’s to see here? With the Trumps this is just normal “business as usual.” What might one of Putin’s henchmen want with Trump Jr. a couple hundred thousand dollars couldn’t buy? Junior’s new bride referred to this guy who barely speaks English and met Junior a couple years ago on a hunting trip with little to no contact since as a “dear friend.” The dude had an entourage of Russians (likely intelligence officers) with him for the celebration. Again, “nothing to see here?” Looks to me like front page “corruption 101” stuff you SHOULD only read about in novels.

Number two on my list: Trump’s performance during the “Iran war” which Trump has referred to as “small potatoes” or just a little “excursion.” By the way, I have yet to witness a member of the media explain the difference to Trump between “excursion” and “incursion.” Even though an action which has left thousands of Iranian citizens DEAD, (at least) 18 American service members DEAD, (at least) 800 members of American’s military injured, BILLIONS of damage to American bases in the region plus a lot of other damage to America’s Arab allies in the region plus a significant disruption to oil (and other products) flowing from the region plus the depletion of America’s strategic weapons reserve to the point where Trump seems reluctant to even defend the Saudi’s from the Houthi’s I wouldn’t consider “small potatoes.” Tell that to the family of the American’s injured or killed in the “excursion.” (Honestly, I have to say, it appears to me it’s been an “incursion.” What we seem to need is an “excursion” – meaning get the hell out of there.

My next “thought” was to write about Trump’s economy. He says there’s NO inflation. He says gas prices will come down right after the mid-term elections. (Will that be because the democrats have gained control of Congress? I can hope) He also says these gas prices are a small price for Americans to pay for Iran not having a nuclear weapon. Remember a couple things. First, in Trump 1.0 he backed “we the people” out of the “JCPOA” – the Obama led agreement where the Iranians had pledged to NEVER have a nuclear weapon and had invited inspectors in on a regular basis to make sure they were following the agreement. It appears Trump will NEVER get an agreement that solid if he ever gets and agreement at all. However, in the mean time, Americans will continue paying almost double (with diesel it is double) what they were paying before Feburary 28th when Trump allowed Bibi Netanyahu to talk him into this latest American Middle East fiasco. The result is higher prices everywhere and it appears much higher in the next few weeks.. Trump says we’ve got the “greatest” economy ever – because of the stock market. I say I’ve got a very strong feeling the stock market is headed for a MAJOR correction. It’s being fueled by a group of oligarchs fighting to be the king of AI – and, history tells me there is a thinning out of those money hungry oligarchs in the offing. Time will tell. But, for main street, the economy sucks. I do a lot of buying at the grocery store for my family and I can attest to the reality prices are going up rather quickly.

The next thing on my list was: “Will republicans support IMPEACHMENT #3 once the democrats gain control of the House? Have they had enough of the LYING and CHEATING or are they really “bosom buddies” with Trump? How many of them will lose their “seat” in the upcoming election and what kind of message does that send to the republicans who’ll be up for re-election in 2028 should democrats retake control of the Senate? Remember, in IMPEACHMENT #2 there were 7 republicans who voted to convict Trump. How many of them will be willing to stand with Trump after the House managers bring up ALL the CORRUPTION – item by item? Because, I can tell you, the list ought to be LONG! And, of course, should the democrats retake control of Congress “we the people” won’t be looking for them to “go along to get along.” I’m not the only person in this country who’s PISSED at what Trump is doing to our republic and I question if we can survive another two years of him in office – and, I believe JD Vance should be IMPEACHED right along with our so-called president who is a FELON 34 times over. Not only will “we the people” be watching closely, but so will our allies around the world. It’s put up or shut up time!

Next on the list has to do with myself repeatedly referring to Trump as “Sleepy Donald Trump.” Now, full disclosure: I’m recently 79 years old and I have a tendency to doze off during the day. But, I’m not president and I’m not sitting in rooms full of cameras and reporters when I might be just “resting my eyes.” Of course when I start drooling or my head starts bobbing back and forth as I try to stay awake I’m really more than resting my eyes. When I’m at church and close my eyes (I’m ADD) often times I have no memory of parts of the sermon. So, what I’m saying is I can identify with our 80 years old so-called president (with the 34 FELONY convictions on his record – not to mention being adjudicated to have committed sexual assault and defamation and serial FRAUD) who “nods off” during the day – I just NEVER saw Joe Biden do that and if my memory serves me correct Trump still refers to him as “Sleepy Joe Biden.” Projection??? (More full disclosure, I really like(d) Joe Biden as president) Old saying: “Don’t throw stones from a glass house.” As for the bruises on Trump’s hands and neck – I have no idea what that’s all about – but when my MOM had bruises like that show up she was diagnosed with Leukemia. No idea what the “kankles” mean. Do you actually believe the “White House” is being honest about Trump’s health? That he’s in “perfect” health??

Next in my notes asks “How is China gaining “steam” world wide. I mean, it appears to me that Xi Jinping couldn’t be happier with Trump’s decision making. Trump is opening up new avenues of trade for China – like, for example, more trade with – of all places – CANADA. For God’s sake – what is going on with Trump’s ruining our relationship with our CLOSEST ally? Now we see the European Union inviting CANADA in as an “associate” member – whatever that means. It appears to me that Canada is making waves toward more trade with China – possibly opening up Canada as a market for China’s automobile industry – which, from what I can tell is making the best cars in the world. One more “full disclosure:” I drive an electric car (I’ve been doing so since 2015 and now am driving a Ford Mustang Mach e – which, by the way, so far I love the car – I’m getting a range of around 300 miles during the summer and fall weather – it will go down during the winter weather) and I’ve paid attention to the electric car market somewhat closely. Trump has seemingly attempted to destroy the EV market with American car manufacturers – but, like virtually all “green energy” initiatives he’s simply leaving a large “chasm” for the Chinese to fill. (Kind of reminds me of when America didn’t want to have to compete with cars built in Japan many years ago.) To me, more stupidity. The Chinese EV’s, by many accounts, are the best cars in the world. I can’t totally attest to that because they are blocked from the American market. Yep, more stupidity! (Oh yes, I heard Canada was building a wall on their southern border and expect the U.S. to pay for it!)

Yikes! This is getting really long. Not too many living persons are going to read all of this, but I’ll move on to the next topic I jotted down. And, to me, this is one of the most important ones – probably should be closer to the top so it would get more of a chance to be read. But, here we go: Elon Musk and what I’ll call the Silicon Valley mafia – the OLIGARCHS (BILLIONAIRES) who hate democracy and are the financial engine behind the Trump, and therefore Project 2025, push to turn America into a fascist state. I’ve written numerous times here that the foundation for a fascist takeover of any democracy is the partnership of corporations with the government – which you can see clearly is happening (probably already happened) in America. If/when democrats retake control of Congress this will be one of the main things they MUST accomplish – and that is to reign in these OLIGARCHS through higher taxes and more stringent regulations. They, along with Trump’s blessing, are obliterating many federal regulations which are threatening the health and safety of “we the people” – especially working Americans.

This topic gets a second paragraph because the goal of the Silicon Valley mafia is apparent to anyone willing to look closely at what they’re doing but let me explain for anyone who doesn’t understand what these BILLIONAIRES are up to. Take Musk, for example. He’s apparently hovering around a net worth of a cool TRILLION and, of course, like the rest of them, he wants more – much more. With these people we’re witnessing a TINY group of Americans with an insatiable “thirst” for MONEY. (I believe Trump is trying to “piggy back” on these people as best he can and while he can to get in on the looting of the American taxpayers) Musk did a “I’m going to say the quiet part out loud” thing at Trump’s inauguration (which he spent close to $300 MILLION to make sure it happened) when he threw THREE Sieg Hiel’s – as if he’s an expert at doing so – with nary a whimper from republicans or our “mainstream media.” (MSM) Zuckerberg is buying up real estate where he can “get away” from the “fan” when you know what is hitting it and Peter Thiel purchased a large chunk of New Zealand’s remote outback and became an “honorary” citizen of New Zealand – so, he’s now a citizen of Germany (born there) the U.S. (naturalized) and New Zealand (They apparently need the money or ???) Both Thiel and Musk grew up in apartheid South Africa – Thiel amongst a German “community” that still supported Hitler. Zuckerberg, Bezos and the rest of them seem to just go along because they want to get even richer no matter how they have to do it. Not only are these people dangerous and apparently “above the law” but they are openly supporting the destruction of our democratic republic. Holy smokes! I think I’m going to have to leave the rest of my list until next time. Stay tuned…

Final Thought: Today Trump was at the U.N. making a fool of himself and demonstrating, in person, in front of the world what an embarrassment he is to the United States. In the process of bashing one country after another he bragged about his CRIMINAL invasion of Venezuela where he ordered the MURDER of over 200 people in small outboard boats in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific, blasted Cuba to the point where their delegation walked out, and chose to, once again, commit the WAR CRIME of destroying the Iranian nation – apparently threatening to kill them (Iranians) all. I’m going to stop here because writing about this awful person (Trump) is making me sick to my stomach!

Maybe this is why Trump wants to block the Mid-term Elections! (EPSTEIN)

I’ll put this next thought this way: Many of us were predicting Trump would be attempting to stop the mid-term elections soon after he took (LIED about) the oath of office (with the hand usually resting on the Bible hanging by his side – maybe he thinks that makes the LYING OK) for Trump 2.0. I wasn’t sure how he’d pull it off, but it appears he has what I’m sure he believes is a genius plan. If states don’t send their lists of registered voters to the federal government – ie the post office – then the post office WON’T deliver mail-in ballots to “we the voters.” That would throw a fatal “monkeywrench” into states like where I live (Washington state) because the entire election is done via mail-in ballots.

And, the term “mail-in” is a bit confusing. It’s NOT that the post office won’t deliver MY ballot to the proper place where it will be counted – it’s that I won’t receive a ballot at all. And, there are several other states who operate exclusively via mail-in ballots. Trump, I’m sure, thinks HIS SCOTUS will support his scheme and will, by the time they make a ruling, less than 60 days until the election making a “free and fair” election moot. Sounds PREPOSTEROUS, no? Well, do you believe the SCOTUS will block Trump’s plan? If they do will it be by a 9-0 vote? (Highly unlikely on the latter)

Reports have come out in the past couple of days that despite a court ORDER for the USPS to stop this “PREPOSTEROUS” scheme, they are forging ahead anyway. What will Trump do if/when the SCOTUS says no to this plan? Will he tell the Postmaster General to ignore the Court’s ruling? I mean, when it gets right down to it, you can’t send in a mail-in ballot if it isn’t firse delivered to you. The initial ballots are planned to be sent out in a matter of days. Will the Post Office refuse to send them out? This is how Trump is planning to create enough confusion to call an emergency and block the election all together. Let’s be clear, he’ll do anything to keep from getting IMPEACHED a third time!

And, there are plenty of other reasons why he’s going to attempt to create an emergency which blocks this election. Just think of some of the investigations that are long overdue. I’ll list some off the top of my head: The $400 MILLION Qatari plane v emoluments clause of constitution. And, speaking of the emoluments clause how about the crypto scams and taking BILLIONS from the UAE among others? The illegal tariffs. Tearing down the East Wing of the “White House” without Congressional approval – AND cramming the construction of an ILLEGAL “ballroom” to the point where when the court rules it illegal it will already be built. Filling our streets with National Guard troops and SS troops – er ICE thugs and snatching perfectly honorable and in the country legally people off the streets – giving them no “habeas corpus” – and then shipping them to places like Africa where their lives are immediately in jeopardy. (Kind of a creative way to compete with the Nazi’s of the Third Reich) ICE murdering people with no accountability (so far) And, the list goes on and is LONG – but, we can’t of course fail to include one of the main items Trump fears – EPSTEIN!

OK, you’re correct. I didn’t mention the ILLEGAL war in Iran – the fourth ILLEGAL war I’ve been protesting by, among other actions, voicing my displeasure during my lifetime (Viet Nam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and, now Iran) Yes, I should have mentioned GAZA. I’ve been a lifelong supporter of Israel – UNTIL Netanyahu. He’s as CORRUPT as Trump and neither country seems to have the “stones” to deal with it – but, there’s no way I can be supportive of what Israel is doing in GAZA or what Israeli “settlers” are doing in the “West Bank.” As far as I can tell Vladimir Putin, Bibi Netanyahu, Donald Trump, Pete Hegseth, and a bunch of their surrogates are guillty of WAR CRIMES. The U.S. refuses to recognize the International Criminal Court because, well, we’ve had many leaders who deserve to be held to account for violating international law.

And, yes, I’m talking about GW Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and many of their surrogates for the authorization and execution of TORTURE during the Iraq/Afghanistan fiascos. Trump/Hegseth, for starters, have blown up well over 200 people riding in boats with outboard motors in the Caribbean or Eastern Pacific to “smitherines.” The justification: the boats allegedly had illegal drugs on board. At this point no one will ever know – but, even if there were drugs on those boats there’s NO WAY they could have made it to America and blowing them up is a WAR CRIME – the boats were like “ski boats.” And, Trump/Hegseth/ and their surrogates even did what’s called a “double tap” – meaning there were a couple survivors on one boat after being hit be a U.S. bomb – so they ordered a SECOND strike to make sure everyone on the boat was MURDERED.

On the first day of the ILLEGAL bombing attack on Iran the American’s took out a girls elementary school with about 150 girls and teachers all being MURDERED. I’d like to put it in a nicer way, but as the saying goes; “It is what it is.” I don’t even recall the Americans apologizing for KILLING something like 120 – 130 elementary school GIRLS. Now, in the latest brilliant bombing mission in Iran the Americans (which, technically includes me and the rest of the 350 MILLION people in this country, like it or not) with their incredibly accurate bombs hit a home where there was a wedding taking place. Among the dead from that one was a little child. And, Trump wonders why the Iranian people don’t rise up against the IRGC. After all, Trump/Hegseth have “only” KILLED about 4000 Iranian civilians so what are they waiting for?

The GARBAGE coming out of the Trump reign on America (version 2.0) is difficult to keep up with. That was obvious from the start for anyone who took the time to read Project 2025. “Flooding the zone” was a key part of their strategy since “day one.” (I guess you could say they at least succeeded in one “day one” objective) At this point I don’t think the “puppet masters” (Project 2025 authors) expected Trump to be such a fool for Netanyahu. I believe they were in big trouble regarding the “mid-term elections” before Trump’s ill advised attack on Iran – but, that was impetus for the sh*t hitting the fan in a bad way for the administration. However, as I’ve said, all along I believe Trump has/does believe(d) he can BLOCK the election. If you remember, during the campaign of 2024 he told a group of Christian voters they would only need to vote for him in that election and there wouldn’t be a need to vote after that. And, this post office scheme – with a little help from the SCOTUS – seems to be the plan. (Although, I’m sure he’s got a backup plan that includes him declaring a “national emergency.” He REALLY doesn’t want “we the people” to see, for example, the unredacted EPSTEIN files! Stay tuned!

Final Thought: When you think about all the sh*t that has transpired taking the attention of “we the people” off the EPSTEIN files, it should be clear there’s something really incriminating in there pointed directly at Trump. He’s invaded Venezuela to get our attention elsewhere, he’s got us talking about the THOUSAND or so stock transaction he’s executing each month, and he’s started a WAR with Iran that has no apparent ending – as far as he knows what do do (which includes dangerously depleting America’s stockpile of smart bombs and “interceptors” plus pushing our troops beyond the “brink”) and now he’s planning a multi pronged attack on our upcoming election in order to prevent the inevitable from happening. He’s still kissing up to the Russians (including inviting the Russian finance minister to the recent G-20 summit – where the other members refused to have their picture taken with him).

I know I’ve wondered (sometimes aloud) about what does Putin have on Trump? I mean, the Russians are providing intelligence to the Iranians about American targets to hit during the flare ups. The Russians reportedly are sending missiles to Iran to use to hit American targets. And, yet Trump continues to act as if he’s the world’s biggest fan of Vladimir Putin. Keeping in mind, of course, that Putin is mentioned in the EPSTEIN files something like a thousand times (yes, that’s several THOUSAND times less than Trump) but there is speculation EPSTEIN provided Putin with the kompromat he needed to get Trump to “heel.” I have no idea if that’s true, but there’s got to be something because there’s NO WAY Trump should be kissing up to Putin and the Russians. The Russians are further testing Trump with “stepping their toe over the line” of our NATO allies. So far, not a peep from Trump.

I’ve always said Trump has a place in American History reserved right next to Benedict Arnold. But, I’ve come to the conclusion I was wrong. His place will be far WORSE than Arnold’s. The TRUTH of all that is taking place during Trump 2.0 that will eventually come out. Whether Trump can be held accountable for all the dastardly deeds he’s committing is quesitonable because, after all, he’s 80, has multiple bruises visible (how many are not visible?), he has “kankles,” and he’s very much overweight. He’ll stall any investigation which happens once he’s out of the “White House” until he’s so old it won’t matter – so, I’ve accepted that I won’t live long enough to see him “behind bars.” But, he and his family will, at some point be so “toxic” that their “ill gotten gains” will be for naught. The bigger problem is I don’t believe America can withstand another 2 1/2 years of this. The DAMAGE will take generations to repair – if it’s even possible! Yikes!!!

I was, as is my usual morning “checkup,” browsing Yahoo!finance this morning – just as had curiously been happening since the STUPID invasion of Iran – the Stock Market seems to be ignoring the impending CRASH that many are predicting with the most CORRUPT administration in America’s history. This webpage (Yahoo!finance) would leave you lacking if you were attempting to find the effect of the most recent STUPID American (illegal) war in the Middle East. As the “beat rolls on” Wall Street continues to represent the good fortunes of a sliver of America’s population – a few hundred BILLIONAIRES along with a growing number of “OLIGARCHS” – with a so-called president (and his family) attempting to grab as much of the “pie” as they can before their “good fortune” runs into reality.

One of the first things I noticed today, for example, was the report that a month or two back Trump (surprise, surprise) purchased stock in SpaceX – which is just one more example of Trump having a financial interest in a company his administration is directly involved with regarding regulations (or removal of regulations) and MASSIVE government contracts. In the previous 10 years it’s been reported SpaceX has received government contracts totalling in EXCESS of $17 BILLION. Apparently MAGAts don’t see the conflict of interest here. Keeping in mind, during the first year of Trump 2.0 Trump executed over 22,000 stock trades compared to Biden (and his family) making 13 trades during his four years in office. My guess is Trump would accuse Biden of “corruption” while suggesting his TWENTY TWO THOUSAND trades involved no conflict of interest. (After all, he says he doesn’t take a salary to be our so-called president)

Everyone paying attention knows Trump has been extorting kickbacks out of several major American Corporations/law firms/universities in return for the “support” of our government. In place of grants originally part of the Chips and Science Act Trump is pushing extortion “the likes of we’ve never seen before.” For example, one of Joe Biden’s signature pieces of BIPARTISAN legislation was the plan for corporate investment in America bringing the manufacturing of “chips” back on American soil. And, many corporations were involved in this at the outset of Trump 2.0. However, with the change of administrations Trump originally ordered Mike Johnson to “ge rid of the act.” Instead they introduced aditional tax credits for advanced semiconductor manufacturing which led to the U.S., via Trump, for example, taking a 9.9% stake in Intel paid for with grants from the Act. Let that sink in. These “grants” were, of course, originally intended to help Intel produce “chips” in America and be able to compete with the market. The other example of Trump’s extortion I can remember was gaining something like 15% of the “pie” created by Nvidia selling their “AI chips” to China. Trump and his sycophants are supposed to be the “free market” standard-bearers!

And, these (and other tech stocks) continue to surge in an upward capacity – seemingly day in and day out. No matter the price of petroleum based products, no matter the availabiility of things like fertilizer, liquid pretroleum gasses such as propane or butane, liquid natural gas, petrochemicl “feedstocks” used in plastics, paints, and resins, helium used in medical imaging and semiconductor manufacturing, industrial minerals and construction materials. Additionally, agricultural IMPORTS such as wheat, corn, barley and soybeans, as well as sugar are constrained by the closing of the straight threatening food security in the Middle East and markets for our farmers. The HEADLINES focus on the impact on the oil market, but the impact of Trump’s war of choice goes well beyond oil. And, Trump seems oblivious to all of this as he’s doing what I watched American presidents do since the days of Viet Nam – find a way to “save face” while ending the conflict. Oh yes, and playing lots of golf!

You know what? The way I see this the Iranians are more cognizant of all these issues than Trump and they’re not going to allow him to save face. As I’ve written previously they will demand their “pound of flesh” in any agreement they make with the U.S. I also believe if there’s to be an agreement ending this (foolish American) conflict the negotiators will NOT be Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff. These are the two guys out front in the “negotiations” taking place prior to the American and Israeli bombs falling on Iran who appear to have set up the Iranian leaders – likely getting them to gather together in order to examine negotiations described as “so close” by one of the mediators (while holding his thumb and index finger close to each other) one day before the Ayatollah, most of his family, something like 40 Iranian leaders, and about 175 elementary school girls were murdered as the bombing commenced. Now, Trump is over the proverbial “barrel.” Our nincompoop in chief will continue to do everything except admit he’s a LOSER!

So today, Scott Bessent, America’s bumbling Treasury Secretary announced “Operation Economic Outcast” — a series of expanded sanctions aimed at squeezing Iran. Yep, that will likely end the war – you bet! Iran has been under American sactions of decades. My guess is this announcement will simply further what has been accomplished to this point in the war. More leaders around the world will continue rolling their eyes at the STUPIDITY of America’s administration AND China ultimately will be the beneficiary. Here’s the deal – from my perspective. Russia will continue to partner with Iran. China will continue to partner with Iran. And, North Korea will continue to partner with Iran. In fact, North Korea has been doing so for many decades. Here’s some of what has transpired between the two countries over the past many years: Both countries have collaborated on military technology and arms development, they both share goals regarding nuclear capabilities, the U.S. is considered a common enemy (despite Trump’s “love letters”), and both have faced international sanctions causing a sense of solidarity. Do you really believe that will end?

Here’s another question going through my mind tonight – and, as an American, it’s both alarming and embarrassing. Who are the American “allies” who will wage into this new “war” strategy? Will it be our number one traditional ally Canada? Well, on top of “Operation Economic Outcast” Trump today announced an economic “war” against Canada. For – OK, I’m not sure for what? Does Trump really believe Canada is screwing over “we the people?” Or, is this because the Canadians are the ones telling Trump to “pound sand.” Here’s what I believe Trump is accomplishing. Turning our top trading partner toward an enhanced relationship with, you guessed it, China. Are you tired of all the winning yet?

And, when it comes to Trump’s “lover” in North Korea, it appears Kim is simply one more international leader who has discovered the way to set up Trump – is with flattery. That’s all it takes! Flattery is the kryptonite to narcissists. Trump is digging himself a hole he is finding it difficult to get out of. In fact, true to his M.O. that he NEVER admits he’s made a mistake (in this case a MONUMENTAL one) he is likely to just keep digging. And, in the international world he doesn’t have our right wing SCOTUS to bail him out. I say that, because they (the Supreme Court) keep trying to do so domestically.

The court hasn’t been shy in making it clear over the past two or three years that they are all in on Trump. That is the six right wing hacks that are willing to contort themselves in disgusting ways to give Trump what he wants. Just this past week, John Roberts essentially gave Trump the “green light” to continue the construction of the “ballroom” – despite the fact it’s clearly illegal – so that he’ll get to the point where even if/when the court blocks the construction it will be so far along that, well, they’ll find a way to suggest he’s not simply a tenant of the “White House” but the new “owner.” I mean, how else could they approve this? My hope is that any democrat elected in 2028 orders it to be torn down and the East Wing rebuilt.

Of course, as I’ve stated here many times since “day one” of Trump 2.0 this would depend on whether or not we have “free and fair” elections in 2028. For that matter, we still have to worry about the 2026 election because of this court. Trump’s executive order restricting the use of mail in ballots in the upcoming mid-term election has, at least temporarily, received an unsigned “boost” from the SCOTUS’s “shadow docket” where they can support Trump without putting their names on the decision. Fortunately, there are lawyers dedicated to actually supporting our constitution (states are in charge of their own elections – subject to the constitution) so the Court will get another chance to get it “right.” Does anyone else out there feel this “house of cards” is going to CRASH in the near future? Stay tuned…..

Final Thought: I know someone who I once had an extended “dialogue” regarding his support of Trump and my opposition. When his responses became out and out racist I said, “That’s enough.” He claimed he isn’t a racist because he’s known lots of Black people. I’m not kidding – and, he’s a former dentist in the Navy (years ago) who retired from a private practice over a decade ago. (He’s even older than me) So now, speaking of the Navy, we have one more example of Trump’s OVERT racism.

The Navy hero is Doris “Dorie” Miller who was honored for his actions during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The U.S. Navy is considering renaming the aircraft carrier which has been planned to be named the USS Doris Miller to instead honor President Donald Trump. Can you guess who is behind this change? OK, you might say Pete Hegseth and that wouldn’t surprise me – but, can you imagine Trump overruling him? I mean it’s hard to argue that either Hegseth or Trump are not racists.

During the attack in question Miller, a Black American Seaman serving as a “mess attendant,” who served during WW II, helped carry wounded sailors to safety and assisted his mortally wounded captain from the ship. Additionally, during the attack he manned an anti-aircraft gun despite having no formal training, firing at Japanese planes and contributing to the defense of his ship the USS West Virginia. Miller was the first Black sailor to receive the Navy Cross – keeping in mind Trump was a draft dodger. In January 2020, the U.S. Navy announced that a new aircraft carrier would be named the USS Doris Miller, making it the first aircraft carrier named after a Black American and an enlisted sailor. That was during Trump 1.0. Embarrassingly, we’re now in Trump 2.0 thanks to America’s voters and Blacks are being purged from the military – apparently, including sailors from over 80 years ago. Yikes!!

If you’ve read this far, I’m just a retired 6th grade teacher – NOT a professional writer. There’s an old saying “opinions are like assholes. Everyone’s got one.” This is where I express mine!

I don’t have much time tonight so I hope I can keep the thoughts running through my head simple – i.e. succinct. It has become clear Trump’s war in Iran is headed toward being just one more “endless war” in the Middle East. This war is, in a very short time comparatively, as devastating to America’s standing in the world as any of the wars I can remember in my lifetime – beginning with Viet Nam. America has depleted her stockpile of bombs on the Iranian people to the point of creating more vulnerability to traditional “enemies” like China (Taiwan) and Russia (Ukraine). Trump has DAMAGED America’s tradtional relationships with her key allies (NATO, South Korea, etc.) DAMAGE which is potentially spreading into other countries in the Middle East.

Americans are suffering through higher prices at the “pump” along with virtually every other aspect of their lives ranging from food at grocery stores to the source of most of that food – America’s farmers. I once made an attempt to operate a farm (it lasted 8 years) and I know first hand the DAMAGE caused by fertilizer being pushed up to almost double what it cost before the war. Many farmers will LOSE money either due to the cost of the fertilizer to produce their crop OR not being able to produce it at all. The cost of MOVING goods is going way up. Petroleum is critical to more than our cars and trucks.

My point here is that Trump could care less about the effects of his WAR on “we the people” – he’s also said, in essence, quit complaining about the high gas prices – it’s the cost he’s “blessing” Americans with to make sure Iran “never has a nuclear weapon.” (Reminder, Trump is the one who axed the JPCOA of the Obama administration – where Iran promised to “never have a nuclear weapon.” All with inspectors. A treaty that was working!

So, here’s what’s going through my head tonight as I’m thinking, to Trump, this war is a HUGE success. I’m convinced he believes he can manipulate markets indefinitely so that the stock market isn’t affected by his war. To most of the rest of us, the war sucks and we don’t have stocks in the first place. We’re focused on paying the rent, buying food, and hoping no one in our family gets sick. Here’s why the Iran war is such a success in Trump’s mind: HARDLY ANYONE IS TALKING ABOUT THE EPSTEIN FILES anymore! Full Stop! (Trump’s perfect Endless war!)

Recently I was reading an article in “Raw Story” an independent jornalism source for various articles from different sources. This article was referring to the DAMAGE RFK Jr. was doing to vaccination schedules and “rules” regarding American children. For example, breaking up the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccine into three different shots for children at three different times. Ostensibly, the article was aimed at Abdul El-Sayed who recently won the Michigan primary in the “race” for Michigan’s Senate seat being vacated by the retirement of democrat Gary Peters. In the course of the article, the author (John Casey) mentioned Senator Bill Cassidy who, like El-Sayed is a medical doctor, and blaming Cassidy with the reality RFK Jr. is our Secretary of HHS – it was his vote the deciding one making it possible for Kennedy’s confirmation.

Well, in the course of lamenting the DAMAGE being caused by Kennedy’s “anti-vax” positions – including his (debunked) claims vaccines cause autism – Mr. Casey said of Trump: he’s “is an accomplice in killing children — that’s a cold, hard analysis that, in my (Casey’s) estimation, will come to fruition in the years ahead. Well, it’s real that the U.S. has a serious MEASLES outbreak spreading across the nation as I’m writing this – it was reported the other day the small county in Washington State where I live now has 18 cases of measles – virtually ALL in unvaccinated individuals – mostly children. In 2024 there were only THREE cases in the entire state by the middle of the year. RFK Jr. (and, by extension Trump) are having a direct effect on the health of America’s children. So far, this year as of August 2026, there have been OVER 2,500 cases (reported) nationally. This for a disease which had been, for all intents and purposes, eliminated before Trump 2.0 and RFK Jr. took office. SHAMEFUL!

All of that is alarming and accurate – to a degree. However, to put Trump’s actions as an accomplice to killing children from RFK Jr.’s anti-vax stance and his going along with only it begs to differ with a reality Trump will have to live with which is exponentially more devastating. Remember, it was Trump who sicced (f)Elon Musk on “we the people” with his “DOGE bros” and one of their FIRST disastrous actions was “killing” USAID – America’s “soft” foreign aid program that was directly saving the lives of, over the next few years, MILLIONS of the poorest people in the world – most of which are/were children. It’s been estimated that since that aid was stopped there have ALREADY been OVER 750,000 unnecessary deaths of which over 500,000 have been children and by 2030 it will be well into the MILLIONS. Bill Gates called this travesty “the richest man in the world KILLING the poorest children.” There is no way to “slice this” without pointing out Trump is an accomplice in this action as well as the anti-vax movement pushed by Kennedy. Yes, SHAMEFUL!

Trump is leading an administration that counts shamelessness as routine for any day ending in Y. The examples are endless. Today, for example, in reference to the sailors in crisis on the Air Craft Carrier the U.S. Abraham Linclon – who’ve been at sea for a record amount of time (over 8 months) – are experiencing food shortages, lack of water, plugged toilets, no way to shower, and, in some instances are attempting suicide by jumping overboard (one sailor actually succeeded in going overboard – although he was rescued) – again, the ship has been at sea for longer than ANY before them – and Trump’s response to a question from a pool reporter on what he thought about the length of time these sailors had been at sea was to say “they haven’t been there long enough.” (or words to that effect) You guessed it, SHAMEFUL!

That would be comparable to Trump, earlier this year, saying “I love inflation” or “I don’t think about people’s financial situations” or “paying a dollar more for a gallon of gas is a small sacrifice for Americans to make to keep Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.” Let me stop there and elaborate on that last bafoonish comment by our nincompoop in chief – sorry, but no other way to describe him when referring to his lack of ability to feel SHAME or empathy for the people he’s SUPPOSED to serve.

First off, Trump has NO IDEA what the effect of paying one dollar per gallon for EVERY gallon of gas someone purchases – especially over a six month (and likely longer) period of time – and, it could get much higher as the standoff at the Straight of Hormuz drags on. (I doubt if Trump has every purchased a gallon of gas) I happen to drive an electric car, but I know people who are paying over $50 per month more than they were prior to Trump’s ILLEGAL invasion of Iran on February 28 of this year. It’s not just gas, either – I’m noticing EVERYTHING is going up in price to the point where I don’t trust the inflation reports – because the things I buy are increasing by more than 3 or 4 percent when they go up. I bought a tarp today that was at least 20% higher than it was four months ago – manufactured overseas and subject to Trump’s tariff TAX.

Secondly, Trump OBVIOUSLY has no idea how to extricate “we the people” from this ill advised military adventure likely the result of his fealty to Bibi Netanyahu – and, now, Netanyahu is refusing to go along with Iranian demands regarding their attacks in GAZA and Lebanon. Just as Trump is, by threatening War Crimes, actually committing them – Netanyahu is in the same category as Vladimir Putin – warrants for their arrests by the International Criminal Court – apparently, “we the people” are right there with those two thugs in refusing to abide by international standards when it comes to war – the U.S. committed WAR CRIMES in the Carribbean by blowing up what amounted to “ski boats” and claiming they were “narco terrorists.” They even, in one instance, “double tapped” one boat by “finishing the job” when it appeared two men survived the original blast. SHAMEFUL! One of the only countries Netanyahu and Putin can safely visit is the U.S. (Well, also North Korea and China)

Everyone in the world – most importantly the Chinese and Russians – knows the U.S. has depleted it’s stockpile of long range missiles and “interceptors” to the point where Trump has stopped his embarrassing threats to “obliterate” Iran (or “send them back to the stone age”) where he did his full on “TACO” maneuver each time, once or twice a week, finding a more ridiculous way of “chickening out” each time. While I was always happy he (and expected him to) “chicken(ed) out” – the reality, at this point, is that the U.S. wasted a lot of bombs as they were killing Iranian school girls and thousands of the Iranian civilians Trump originally encouraged to take over their government while accomplishing virtually NOTHING militarily. What “we the people” are facing now is a president who just isn’t able to admit defeat so this “drama” at the Straight could continue indefinitely. It’s been reported the Iranians are prepared to take this to the end of Trump 2.0. And, like with his disgusting comment about the USS Abraham Lincoln’s 260 days at sea Trump will continue to demonstrate, every day, his SHAMELESSNESS along with his incompetence! (And, of course, that of Pete Hegseth)

Trump believes the U.S. has a “great economy” because him and his BILLIONAIRE buddies (benefactors) are “cutting off a fat hog” at the Stock Market. Well, on further examination, that stock market is making about 100 OLIGARCHS obscenely RICH – while the 60% of Americans who are living paycheck to paycheck are one lost job or medical emergency from joining the ranks of the homeless. Many economic experts are referring to America’s economy as “K shaped” (Wall Street “rising” while Main Street is “falling”) with the top earners being the gamblers on Wall Street with the rest of us fighting over the “scraps.” Trump is good at dividing Americans against each other and he does that by convincing those in his cult not to believe their “lying eyes.” Many of Trump’s policies are making life more difficult for the bulk of his sycophants – he’s just good at convincing them to vote against their own self interest. (With the help of Fox “news” and other right wing propaganda platforms)

For me, this all is almost unbelieveable – although I know what’s happening because I pay attention (plus I read much of Project 2025) – it could be depressing. But, the good news, to me, is people like Abdul El-Sayed winning the Senate democratic primary in Michigan. After listening to him speak I realized if I was in Michigan I would eagerly vote for him – I really hope he prevails in November. I listened to another democrat who won a primary election, this time in Minnesota – her name is Peggy Flanagan and she is the democratic nominee for Minnestota’s Senate seat. I really hope both of these people win – with enough progressives like them I could actually be drawn toward the democratic party. (Remember, I vote AGAINST republicans as an “independent”) The republican racists have already overtly shown how they fear people like El-Sayed and Flanagan by throwing around racist insults. (SHAMEFUL) El-Sayed is a Muslim and Flanagan is a Native American. The racist attacks coming from republicans is why I ALWAYS vote against them. Stay tuned!!!

Final Thought: I’ve written several times about (f)Elon Musk throwing the Sieg Hiels at Trump’s inauguration and decided I’d supply a little evidence. This is a photo of ONE of the three he threw while participating in the celebration of Trump’s victory. Along with reading Project 2025 nothing has surprised me about Trump 2.0! This photo of Musk pretty much says it all. More and more people are beginning to “get” what the ultimate objective of Trump, his project 2025 puppet masters, and the OLIGARCHS like Musk who’ve decided “democracy” is, well, for the birds. Remember, the 750,000 people DEAD because of Trump and Musk shuttering USAID are from what Trump called “shithole countries.” Trump, Musk, and the others in their orbit are all about the MONEY! Example: Musk’s net worth has more than TRIPLED since he invested almost $300 MILLION to get Trump elected. Trump’s net worth has doubled! You can see from the photo Musk’s motivation! Trump’s supporters cheered! Yikes!!!

For some reason there’s a debate going on whether or not (f)Elon Musk is a racist. This after, while addressing Trump’s inauguration celebration, he chose to throw THREE Sieg Hiel’s with barely a whimper coming from our “mainstream media.” (MSM) I’ve brought this up numerous times but very few actual people read my “diary in cyberspace” and I haven’t heard anyone else mentioning this – and, the conclusion you could draw from it. Additionally, Musk recently responded “true” to a post on his VILE Social Media platform suggesting Hitler was a “left winger” and suggesting those of us on the “left” resemble the “deplorable” German fuhrer (who people pledged their support via their “Sieg Hiel’s”) and his “woke” politics. Right wing PROJECTION at its finest.

Musk was raised in South Africa in the apartheid days and seems unbothered by some of the real life results of his own actions – not the least being that Trump is president largely due to Musk’s money and platform spewing misinformation. When Musk is confronted with the REAL consequences of HIS undermining USAID during the first stages of the “DOGE” assault on our government – that, by most accounts, upwards of 750,000 people are DEAD, largely in African nations Trump referred to as “shithole countries” – Musk rages and threatens lawsuits. I saw parts of an interview recently where Musk claimed “ZERO” deaths resulted from destroying USAID.

To me, that is as absurd as suggesting Musk’s companies (Tesla and SpaceX) would be successful without the massive government contracts thrown their way over the previous many years. It’s been reported that over the previous 10 years Musk’s companies have received in excess of $18 BILLION in federal contracts. Since 2015 SpaceX has been reported to have received over $17 BILLION in government contracts alone. Many see the conflicts of Musk and “DOGE” cutting government up against the reality of what DAMAGE they caused. I’ve been lamenting the DAMAGE Trump has been inflicting on “we the people” for about 10 years now. And, of course, it’s getting worse.

Trump and his sons are busy scooping up as much MONEY as they possibly can while his reign on our constitution lasts. (Of course, what the Trump’s are gaining PALES in the face of Musk’s net worth jettisoned by Trump 2.0) The Trump family are desperate to find ways to CHEAT in the upcoming Mid-term elections because if things don’t go their way the incredible GRIFT could be in danger. Of course, with Musk once again throwing (by all acounts) at least $100 MILLION in a desperate attempt to fool voters into voting against their own best interests OR keeping them from voting, Trump is planning to find creative ways to block the predicted “blue tsunami” from becoming official.

In the days looming around the time I’m putting these words on “paper” it appears Senate republicans are soon to cave in the confirmation hearings regarding Todd Blanche. Blanche will be the FIRST AG who is facing the possibility of discipline from the BAR regarding (just) one of the fraudulent legal cases he’s signed off to where judges of all different stripes have thrown them out of court – on several occasions pointing out the lack of INTEGRITY as the basis of the DOJ’s argument. In the DOJ’s attempt to force states to give Trump et al their “voter rolls” Blanche is, as of this writing, ZERO for TWENTY. Yet they forge ahead. I’ve said this before: Trump is like the cornered RAT and he’s going to do whatever it takes, the constitution be damned, to block the democratic “blue wave” from happening. (Oh yes, another reminder: Blanche failed 34 times in Trump’s FELONY convictions in Manhattan)

This is what you get when voters vote in an organized criminal to the “White House.” For years now, I’ve pointed out the foundation of a FASCIST takeover of a “democracy” (democratic republic in the case of the U.S.) is the partnership of government and corporate interests. Like in many other parts of Trump’s (and Project 2025’s) scheme is forming these partnerships in the view of the public – as if that suggests it must be OK. This is where people like Musk (and Zuckerberg, Bezos, Ellison, Thiel, Page, Cook, and the long list of BILLIONAIRES) come into play. These BILLIONAIRES funnel PILES of money to Trump and the administration returns the favor by repealing regulations which make it easier for these people to make even MORE money – keeping in mind they were ALREADY billionaires before Trump 2.0 went past “go.” It seems obvious there’s NEVER enough for these “deplorable” Americans.

Not only is Trump acting like a person in desperation mode, but these “titans” of industry appear to be right there with Trump and his Project 2025 puppet masters. This BILLIONAIRE class has been busy pilfering (by some accounts) over 45 TRILLION from America’s taxpayers since the day Ronald Reagan took the oath of office on January 20th, 1981. Here’s the thing they’re most worried about. The hand that “giveth” could be the hand that “taketh away.” “We the people” could just as easily increase taxes on America’s wealthy as they’ve been receiving tax cuts since the days of Reagan. This is why many of them (BILLIONAIRES) have been creating “hideaways” overseas (for lack of a better word) where they can relocate once the s*#t hits the fan – that is Americans deciding they’ve had enough of funneling their taxpayer dollars to the “top 1%.” Musk, for example, is reported to be worth a $TRILLION. Yet, he doesn’t want to be paying his “fair share.” In fact, I believe he doesn’t want to pay anything.

When you look at Trump as the example of the ONE person in America who SHOULD be encouraging all Americans to be paying their “fair share” of taxes – after all he’s the president – you would get disappointed. Just today as the confirmation of Blanche nears its conclusion it seems as if Blanche’s scam to allow Trump, his family, and his organization to be immune from any investigations into their taxes for prior OR future years is a new LOW for Senate republicans. Likely one of the reasons so many BILLIONAIRES have come along side the least popular president (except maybe Nixon) in my lifetime – and why they (the BILLIONAIRES) are willing to open their checkbooks for Trump. Apparently, it’s cheaper for them than actually paying their taxes.

Back to Musk. One of the most egregious parts of all this, for me, is the White supremacy/nationalism at the root of Trump 2.0 and Project 2025. (Once again, prior to the 2024 election, my take on Project 2025 was calling it a “roadmap to fascism” – by now there should be no doubt.) Musk has, on numerous occasions, made racist – or reposted racist – posts on his social media platform now called “X” – previously “Twitter.” Now, full disclosure, I don’t do (what I call) Xwitter (or most other social media platforms – I do watch [mostly] music videos on YouTube – but the reporting of Musk’s actions on his platform leave nothing for the imagination when it comes to public evidence of his beliefs on race – I mean, after all, he’s a strong supporter of these republicans. Musk’s early days were in Apartheid South Africa and he’s managed to convince Trump to allow immigration to White South “Afrikaners.” Stay tuned….

Final Thought: Trump openly claims the one person he doesn’t want to be remembered as is “Herbert Hoover” – the “father” of the Great Depression. Not being an economist, I’ve got this feeling in my “gut” that Trump’s “great” economy is teetering on a major CRASH. Everyday I check the Stock Market and it’s going up as if everything is great. However, life on “mainstreet” is another matter entirely. At the same time, Trump is entrenched in a war of his own making in Iran (OK, he can thank Bibi Netanyahu) that he has no idea how to get out. Iran has discovered they can hold Trump hostage to their control of the Straight of Hormuz. Despite all Trump’s threats to “obliterate” Iran (or other words to that effect) he’s doing none of it – because the REALITY is, I believe, the U.S. HAS actually turned their stockpile of weapons down to dangerous levels – regarding potential for conflicts with Russia and China. Trump is turning America into a laughing stock around the world, and he’s demostrating how much of an imbecile he is when people quit paying attention to his bullying bluster.

Aside from the disaster in Iran “we the people” (with Trump at the helm) are, among other things, STEALING the oil of the Venezuelans – we don’t even know where the BILLIONS of dollars have gone. “We” are threatening Cuba, he’s threatening Greenland, and he’s, on several occasions, claimed Canada should be the U.S.’s “51st state.” Trump has nearly destroyed America’s relation with NATO countries and has abandoned Ukraine in their battle to fight off Russia’s illegal invasion. (Naturally, with “our” own illegal invasion of Iran – with most of “our” weapons stockpile – how can we critricize Russia?) Trump has gone through SIX bankruptcies – will “our” nation be his SEVENTH? (For any “MAGAts” out there, Trump has overseen more DEBT than any other president in our nation’s history – there’s lots of ways to rationalize this reality – BUT “it is what it is.”) Yikes!!!
