I’m going to try to make this one short. It’s been frustrating for me to watch our “mainstream media” (MSM) fail to respond to Donald Trump’s fascist rhetoric as he stumbles his way to what will hopefully be a clear and convincing defeat on November 5th. Of course, it will likely be days after the 5th before the outcome is determined. That said, Trump continues to follow the script set out in Mein Kampf in the 1930’s by Adolf Hitler and his Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels. We’re finally seeing the topic of Trump’s fascist nature being reported by some of the media, but, hopefully, it won’t be too little too late.
The first example of Hitler’s “strategy” was, of course, the “BIG LIE THEORY.” As laid out by Hitler, “you tell a LIE over and over enough and ultimately people begin believing it’s true.” (My characterization) Well, when you listen to Trump you hear one LIE after another and, almost incredibly, the MSM continues to fail to point this OBVIOUS use of Nazi strategy to those Americans who only pay peripheral attention to the “news.” Shame on them!
The second example, which I’ve also pointed out many times here for several years now is Trump’s (and his republican sycophants who’ve adopted BOTH strategies) use of PROJECTION. Just recently he’s given us a great example of both as he seemed to threaten “pointing guns at Liz Cheney’s face.” He routinely LIES and in this instance he did it again accusing Ms. Cheney of authorizing “10,000 American troops into the heat of battle” (What the???) and, then calling her a “stupid person.” Those are the words of likely the STUPIDEST person to ever get near the Oval Office. Projection, of course, is when you accuse your opponent/enemy of your own issues/transgressions. The examples of Trump’s (and his republican minions) use of projection are endless!
The republican party has adopted BOTH of these Hitler strategies and it’s high time our MSM reported this to Americans still attempting to decide who to vote for. Should, somehow Trump succeed at STEALING this election, it will be a sad day in this country if “we the people” have to discover all this then. Modifying an old saying, “if it walks like a fascist and talks like a fascist, it’s a fascist! Come on MSM! Do your jobs! (without so much FEAR) Stay Tuned! (And VOTE!)
