The DAMAGE Trump has already inflicted on “we the people” will likely take decades to overcome if it is even possible.

I’ve got good news and bad news. The BAD news is that virtually every MSM (Main Stream Media) outlet continues to call Trump’s assault on the American constitution and rule of law as “authoritarianism.” The GOOD news is that people like Robert Reich and Thom Hartmann are calling it what it actually is: FASCISM. There are a few others kind of dancing around the reality of Trump and Project 2025, but I continue to wonder how many of those who have positions of importance in our “fourth estate” have actually taken the time to read Project 2025. And, you don’t have to read the entire 902 pages – unless you’re into knowing the minute details of their plan – by reading the introduction and (for me) about 100 pages – it is clear the “manifesto” is a “roadmap to FASCISM.”

It’s playing out in plain site – and, people I’ve grown to respect (like Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell, and others on MSNBC) just keep using the word “authoritarianism.” That is THEIR euphemism for FASCISM. I refuse to be so “polite.” In America (My father fought in WW II against FASCISM) there seems to be a thing about not using that word. OF COURSE, Trump has misused the term – likely intentionally as part of his scheme of “projection,” but, none the less, beating around the bush changes NOTHING. And, perhaps when more and more Americans begin to get an idea of what is really happening maybe the resistance will increase by enough to make a difference.

Despite the SCOTUS giving Trump (and every president in the future) IMMUNITY – and he’s pushing the limits of anything they could have intended – “we the people” MUST be prepared to hold those who are breaking our laws with impunity – including Trump – to account once this latest American nightmare is over. And, one way to speed up the process of it being over would be for the MSM to start “telling it like it is” in regard to Trump’s continual pushing of boundaries with the goal of destroying our democratic republic. Both he and the Project 2025 authors HATE “democracy.” We MUST set an example of them in due course to make sure this “never happens again.”

I hate to do this again (this will be about the fifth time here – maybe more) but here’s the definition of FASCISM – for anyone thinking I’m speaking in hyperbole:

  1. A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, a capitalist economy subject to stringent governmental controls, violent suppression of the opposition, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
  2. A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.
  3. Oppressive, dictatorial control.

If you’ve read this far I’ll let you put two plus two together. But, let me add, one of the central tenets of FASCISM is a corporate/government partnership. If you saw Trump’s inauguration and all the BILLIONAIRES trying to crowd over each other to get as close to Trump as they could (each one for the “low price” of a “cool” MILLION bucks) and then listening to them show their true colors as they heaped praise on the wannabee DICTATOR – helping to assure his Project 2025 agenda. These were the BILLIONAIRES who, to a large part, control our “Mainstream Media.”

And, from their perspective, there’s not much the rest of us can do about it. Trust me, they’ve got plans to either RIG the 2026 mid terms guaranteeing them a republican “win” OR they will find a way to make sure there are NO mid terms. I actually felt Trump calling up 4000 National Guardsmen and then throwing in another 700 Marines in LA to quell an (mostly peaceful) uprising located in a one mile square section of Los Angeles – a city spanning 500 square miles – was a “trial balloon” for the months preceding the mid terms. A couple outrageous moves on Trump’s behalf, massive protests, and copy cat actions in every big city in America – likely using the Insurrection Act/martial law – causing the election to be canceled. Sound far fetched? Well, I hope to God you’re correct! (Trump’s “approval rating” is now at 37% – he really wants to head off IMPEACHMENT #3 however he has to do it)

Here’s some obvious examples of Trump’s FASCISM: Rounding up people based on their Black or Brown features and throwing them into concentration camps/gulags. Ruling out due process of law. Obscene profiteering from access to POWER. Using Nazi like strategies like the “Big Lie Theory” and Projection in their assault on the truth. A government totally based on loyalty to Trump as opposed to the constitution. Policy based on White Nationalism and/or Christian Nationalism. Full throated attack on the “fourth estate” (and successfully doing so). Using government POWER to bring one institution after another “to the knee.” (IE, ABC, CBS, Columbia University and soon Harvard University – and, how many others? – plus a plethora of cowardly Legal firms) There is nothing subtle about all this. America can’t withstand another 3 1/2 years of this without massive resistance.

Right now, Trump’s got other problems. First on the list is a major issue of his own making – the “Epstein files.” Now, if you’re like me you’ve known about Trump’s relationship with Epstein for years. The photos and videos are EASY to find on the “internets” and it doesn’t take a brain scientist to conclude Trump has a real reason to be fighting the release of these files. Keeping in mind AG Bondi has reportedly ordered hundreds of Justice Department personnel to be going through the 100,000 pages to locate (and do what with?) all the times Trump’s name is mentioned. You don’t believe they would remove or redact Trump’s name do you – after all that work? Call me silly, but I’ll be surprised if Trump’s name shows up once if the files get released. (remember, these are the files which Trump and Bondi said didn’t exist just a couple weeks ago) There’s been plenty of time for a “white wash.”

I mean they’re trying to “White wash” virtually every other part of America – naturally speaking, in a completely different way, so why would this be surprising? For heaven’s sake, JD Vance is out there suggesting the totality of the Declaration of Independence applies only to those whose ancestors were here at the time of the Civil War. (Of course, that would rule Trump out) I’m sure you’ve heard of the “Great Replacement theory” where right wingers (and Trump) are repeating the talking points of Hitler and Goebbels suggesting immigrants have been brought here to “poison the blood” of “White America.” There are some who believe Trump was talking about “with drugs” but, to me, the intent was clear just as was that of Hitler. According to them, Immigrants are creating “mixed couples” which, to Trump, Stephen Miller, and the other Project 2025 members of Trump’s “team” means babies of mixed race.

If you need more evidence, think about Trump’s absurd executive order repealing the clause in the 14th amendment to the constitution regarding “Citizenship.” According to the clearly worded amendment, if you’re born here you’re a citizen. It’s clear and simple. Of course, not to Trump and his sycophants. (I actually often wonder who is the sycophant because Trump doesn’t write these executive orders, “of that I can assure you “) Trumpism wants us to believe what he says, NOT what the constitution clearly means in easy to read words. And, of course, I have to add I have no confidence in the SCOTUS when they actually consider the merits of Trump’s feeble argument.

Just so what I’m writing is easy for you to understand here is what Trump is attempting to repeal with the stroke of a pen – section 1 of the 14th Amendment:

“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

If you’ve been following Trump 2.0 I hope you “get” my point here. There are many examples of what Trump is trying to do (or undo), in my mind, which conjure up the thought Trump and his Project 2025 puppet masters are hell bent on America being a fascist nation. The DAMAGE Trump has already inflicted on “we the people” will likely take decades to overcome if it is even possible – remember, over 75 MILLION Americans voted for this. There’s a lot more DAMAGE to be inflicted on “we the people” before this national nightmare ends. How it ends and when it ends is “up in the air.” The question I have is what will that DAMAGE (in total) be, and how is this going to end? (very possibly not in my lifetime) Stay tuned….

Final Thought: It’s been reported (in some circles) that Trump “allegedly” committed sexual assault on a 13 year old girl in the presence of someone from Epstein’s “world.” This allegedly occurred in 1994 and resulted in a lawsuit which was later withdrawn. The victim wouldn’t use her real name in the lawsuit because of the fear of retribution. (Nor were some of the witnesses) If you’ve followed Trump at all you know that his MO from his earliest days was to “get even” with anyone who “crossed” him. You also know that women (and girls) are rarely believed when they make claims of sexual assault. In this case the girl alleged Trump raped her. I have no idea if this allegation or any of the other allegations regarding Trump and Epstein will ever be “proven,” but – in Trump’s own words – “This I can tell you,” the inference of what is in the public domain leads me to believe Trump’s behavior throughout his life – STINKS! If you’ve read this far I’m sure that’s no surprise to you. Yikes!!!

I have to add: I was wrong when I predicted Trump 2,0 would “tank” the economy in six months. I should have said, “In his first year.” I hope I’m wrong again, but I fear I’m correct – and, it could be a “doozy.”
